Selena Gomez leaves MTV Studios after being interviewed in NYC on Thursday.
The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star said she feels no pressure in being a role model to kids because she is confident of herself and her upbringing.
“I don’t feel any pressure. I’m pretty confident in who I am and who my parents are… I know I’m going to do the best I possibly can,” Selena said on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet.
Selena currently has no boyfriend but, “I go on dates and have crushes and stuff,” she says. “Right now, my crush is Shia LaBeouf. He is cute and a great actor.”

Selena Even Works On Her Birthday

Yesterday even though it was her 16th birthday, Selena Gomez arrives to work in Hollywood on Tuesday on the set of her Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place.
On Saturday, the then-15-year-old Disney star filmed a music video for her song “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” in Los Angeles.
The song is for the soundtrack for her new movie, "Another Cinderella Story". There were also about 50 teenagers that worked as extras in one of the dancing scenes for the video. After filming, Selena signed autographs and posed for photos for every fan that asked.
